  • About Scouting: What We Do

    What We Do

The Scout movement has over 28 million members worldwide. It's purpose? To bring people together and spread fun, skills, knowledge and make memories that will last a lifetime.

There are the more classic scouting activities including camping, cooking on campfires and, of course, learning to tie knots! But Scouting is ever-evolving, and young people today can direct a film, build an electronic gadget or create their own video game, all within Scouting.

  • Our Volunteers

    Our Volunteers

Scouting is a charity, and every group relies on fundraising and the hard work of volunteers to be able to run.

Most of our volunteers are leaders, but anyone can come and help out. You might have a skill you want to share or you may want to come in and teach the Scouts about something you're passionate about. However you do it, volunteering allows you to make a difference, and makes it possible for every child build experiences that last forever.
